The Seven Days of Fun

On the first of vacation we saw on the beach, an orange colored sting ray swim by.
On the second of vacation we saw on the beach, two little sharks, and an orange colored sting ray swim by.
On the third of vacation we saw on the beach, three porpoise dolphins, two little sharks, and an orange colored sting ray swim by.
On the fourth of vacation we saw on the beach, four fragile starfish, three porpoise dolphins, two little sharks, and an orange colored sting ray swim by.
On the fifth of vacation we saw on the beach, five whole sand dollars, four fragile starfish, three porpoise dolphins, two little sharks, and an orange colored sting ray swim by.
On the sixth of vacation we saw on the beach, six sandy children, five whole sand dollars, four fragile starfish, three porpoise dolphins, two little sharks, and an orange colored sting ray swim by.
On the seventh of vacation we saw on the beach, seven billion crabs, six sandy children, five whole sand dollars, four fragile starfish, three porpoise dolphins, two little sharks, and an orange colored sting ray swim by.
Happy 4th of July!

Just a quick post to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July!
For the last couple of years we’ve attended the “Family Friendly Fourth” up in Zellwood, FL. It is co-sponsored by the local Christian radio station, Z88.3 and featured a (free) concert by several Christian artists and fireworks. Unfortunately, apparently something fell through this year and they aren’t doing it. I guess it is ok, though, since it has poured rain here several times today and we likely would have ended up miserable. Well, at least with the rain it will be harder for the neighbors to start the yard on fire with their fireworks that way.
Anyway, we’ve decided to chill at home today and tonight. For those of you who are going to a fireworks show or lighting off your own, we hope you have a safe time.

Thank you all for a wonderful time in South Carolina. Karen and Rich, for all the work you did in planning all the food and finding such a nice place, it was great. Thank you Linda for all your thoughtfulness in the memory books. Just think, everyone took part. The grandchildren and great grandchildren with all their smiles and giggles. What a wonderful memory. We found the cat spoiled, fat, and glad to see us.
