Apple iPhone
by Bingle on Jul.01, 2007, under Richard Bingle
Well, Apple has done it again. This time it is the iPhone, the coolest/slickest looking cross between a phone and an iPod yet. With its touch-screen interface and its orientation sensing widescreen mode, it is sure to be a hit just as a video iPod. Unfortunately, the price ($500-$600) plus the 2 year commitment to a $60 per month plan with AT&T just make it way too expensive for me to justify getting one. I’ll stumble along with my work supplied Blackberry 7520 for a phone (blech!) and my trusty 2nd generation iPod for my music.
I guess I’m still waiting for that iPod with the built-in 3D holographic projector…

Long trip

We made it back also and decided to do it in one day. We got into St. Louis at 12:30 AM after a 15 1/2 hour trip. I am glad I had a great time on vacation and got to relax as Belinda has me back to hanging ceiling fans, drapes etc. It was good to see everyone and it seemed like everyone enjoyed the week together. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s pictures. As soon as Belinda gives me a few minutes to myself I will get the pictures on a disk and send them to everyone.

Made it back!
by AMHatfield on Jun.20, 2007, under Anthony Hatfield Family
We made it back safe and sound to Indy after our week of fun in SC. I wish that I could say our trip back was just as fun. We decided to make the return trip in one day. We didn’t run into any major issues, except a little rain in the mountains and a few traffic delays. But with a decent stop for lunch and dinner and a lot of pit stops, total travel time was 15.5 hours. Thankfully the kids were pretty good.
I almost thought we were still at the beach when we woke up Sunday morning to find our grass was as brown as the sand. Apparently we are in a small drought and had no rain while we were gone. It also sounds like it hit at least 90 almost every day. The good news is that the pet fish was still alive, and the dog seems glad to be home after his week at the kennel.
